Jason Witten Returns To The Playing Field

On Thursday, Jason Witten decided to leave the broadcast booth and return to the football field. After spending 15 seasons with the Cowboys, Witten signed a one-year, $3.5 million deal with them. He served as the Monday Night Football analyst for ESPN during the 2018 NFL Season. Some might say that ESPN paid Witten's contract for the Cowboys just to leave ESPN. He certainly wasn't a crowd favorite for those watching MNF. This makes you think if ESPN told him to get lost or if Witten's comment about the want to compete is true. Although he has been with the Cowboys squad for so many years and then one year without them. Maybe he just can't get away from the Cowboys. It might also be true that he wants to eventually coach for his beloved team, and this is the first step in doing so. Whatever the case is, the Cowboys got a back up veteran tight end and ESPN is in need of a new MNF analyst. Could be a blessing for ESPN, or possibly worse? We'll see.

Will Hailie Deegan Be NASCAR's First Female Winner? Many casual sports fans or people not familiar with NASCAR may think Danica Patrick was the first female racer. She was far from the first female to compete in the Cup Series, but she built a following, had more popularity, and had a larger sponsorship than any previous female driver. Now that Patrick is retired, who will be the next female racing star? One name is making headlines in the lower divisions, Hailie Deegan. Daughter of X-Games and Motocross legend Brian Deegan, Hailie is a 17-year-old racer from Temecula, California. One of the most controversial and polarizing drivers in NASCAR history, Kyle Busch has certainly made his mark in the world of stock car racing. Busch is a driver who every fan either loves or loathes, due to his brash attitude and his winning record.
