Can the Lakers bounce back after All-Star Break

With the All-Star Break currently underway this weekend players and teams are able relax, recover, and most importantly, regroup in order to prepare for the second leg of the season goes underway. Coaches and organizations have the opportunity's to make plans expound on the success that they have had coming into the break, or make some serious changes to their teams gameplans, personal and lines ups. But a team that will have to take the latter approach to preparing for the second half of the season are the Los Angeles Lakers. LA has been in utter disarray every since Anthony Davis announced that he wants out of New Orleans. The All-Star Power Forward is one of the top 5 best players in the NBA, and his request to be traded not only form the Pelicans, but also stating to wanting to be sent to LA before the trade deadline sent the Lakers in to a frenzy. For 10 days the Lakers worked to give any offer they could in order to gain Davis and pair him with Lebron. Magic Johnson made it clear that everyone except Lebron was fair game for a trade deal with the Pelicans. That uncertainly and unpredictability of  being on a Lakers one minute and gone the next made the Lakers play with sloppiness and lack of team effort. Halfway through the season a team touted with young potential talent as well has having Lebron James leading the way are have a dead below.500 record of 28-29, and are 10th in the western conference and are fighting just to stay in the hunt for the 8th seed. While they did beat the Celtics following the trade deadline ending, the question remains if they can gain some team chemistry and rally their way into a playoff spot, and if LeBron can lead a team like this in a Western Conference full of giants.
